Alienware Darkstar

Going old school again just to shake things up with all the trendy stuff that gets uploaded here. The details for this project are in the large attachments. Here's the back story behind this Windows Media Player skin:

Got a call from Microsoft saying they wanted us to do a skin for Metallica and Alienware. One skin for both the brand and the band. So we decided to use Metallica's shuriken throwing star symbol and infuse it with dark alien technology. If you were a space-aged, alien ninja what would you use?

Well Microsoft never could nail Metallica down for this, but Alienware was completely onboard, so we redid the throwing star and kept the concept... Alien Space Ninja Weapon. Animated and with sound FX.
