Lawrence & Mills Logo

Made this for a friend of mine whose sister passed away a year ago in a car accident. Over dinner, he told me that one day he wanted to open up his own real estate property group but couldn't because of the funeral expenses. His parents were no longer working so he had to take up the mantle to take care of his family.

He grew up near the intersection of Lawrence & Don Mills in Toronto, hence the name, Lawrence & Mills. I wanted him to stay motivated and get out of this slump, so I made this for him.

The monogram on the left is composed of the letter "L". Duplicated the letter twice and rotated it 180 degrees clockwise to form a "M".

He absolutely loved it and was really excited so I'm pretty happy with that. Showed this to a couple of other folks and they said the monogram looks like a sliding door which I didn't even notice. Another person said it looks like an open door to a house (door swung fully open) which is pretty cool, feels inviting.

I'm glad people see different things. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions. If you like what you see, hit "L".
