LiT #2 | Foreign Eggplant

This is the 2nd illustration in my series called "Lost in Translation" (where I illustrate literal translations of foreign words).

This translation of 'tomato' comes from Taiwan. In China however, the translation is a little different and equates to something like "Red Western Persimmon".

Is it weird that both make sense to me? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
