Happy Pride!

It's Pride month, and I wanted to draw something up to celebrate it using no straight lines (maximum flow and minimum straightness)!

Pride is so much more than a technicolor parade; it's the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, and the galvanization of the modern LGBT movement! In the 50's and 60's, very few bars allowed queer patrons, and those that did were subject to regular police raids. During one such raid on June 28th, 1969, they decided enough was enough, and fought back! Led by activists Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera (both trans women of color), they rioted through the night and into the following day in what was referred to as "The Hairpin Drop Heard Around the World." Soon, Pride parades followed suit in other cities and countries around the world, and we continue to celebrate their gusto each June and all year round. 🌈🌈🌈
