Dazzle

Say hello to Dazzle, a new kind of mobile web browser. Available for iOS.

Been working on this for a few months now. Stan and I are building a simpler and more efficient way of browsing the web on a mobile device.

We went quite extreme in the removal of extraneous interface elements. The web-to-screen ratio is effectively 92%—imagine how cool this would be on a potential bezel-less iPhone!

Tabs, history and Google search have merged into a unified and searchable list. We would like to add a pinning functionality in the future to keep track of to-dos.

Lastly, we’ve optimized for real one-handed usage, enabled by gestures and a bottom-anchored UI. With the main interactions anchored at the bottom of the screen, hand and thumb movement is reduced independent of the size of your hand or screen. Tap the URL to view search and history; swipe left and right from the edge to show the previous or next page.

Be sure to check out the full view, search interface, and loading view.

Download it on the App Store for free!
