No one is coming to save you

I recently read The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem by Nathaniel Branden (which I would highly recommend). This quote particularly stood out to me, and it is supposed to be empowering rather than burgeoning.

It occurred to me that there is still a huge gulf in the area of emotional technology. I wanted to explore how mindful content can be better served in an elegant intentional way to a time poor, digital society.
