Website Refresh

After nearly 5 tireless months of hard work and doubting why I was doing this in the first place, my new refreshed website and portfolio is live at caseycallow.design.

This started as weird concept at 2am back in December, where I thought it would be cool if people could interact and ask questions by texting a virtual me through an iPhone on the page.

The chatbot was developed using Motion AI, styled, and framed up in a CSS iPhone. The phone, nav bar, and status bar are 100% CSS and SVG, which gave me a lot more flexibility when it came to adding 3D and lighting effects (see home button). The social icons and wifi/battery icons are rendered using an SVG sprite system to allow for browser caching and faster load times. The iPhone clock also updates to the actual time. Built with Sass, Mustache, jQuery, Gulp for compiling, and Netlify for deployment. The whole repo is up on Github if you'd like to peak behind the curtain.

Small details are still in development, but check it out and let me know what you think!
