Blue Jackets Score: March 30, 2017

Game 76 / Check out the whole project here

We just couldn't get the momentum harnessed last night.

-Remember those times when we were getting 4,5, and 6 goals a game. Well it hasn’t been that way lately. We have been held to one goal in three of our last four games.

-Jack Johnson scored our lone goal in the second period and backup goalie Joonas Korpisalo made 29 saves for the CBJ.

-Jack’s move earned quite a bit of angry boos from the crowd, not because the Jackets got on the board first, but because Johnson was originally drafted by Carolina with the 3rd overall pick in 2005 and turned down two different Hurricane offers to go pro before 2006.

-With just 5 mins left in the game the Hurricanes started just throwing the puck at the net and lucky for them one ricocheted off Seth Jone’s skate and went in to tie the game and push it into extra time.

-During OT Carolina got close to scoring on Korpisalo, but Cam poked the puck out of harms way, for a moment. Hanifin immediately picked it up and fired it past Korpisalo for his first career overtime goal.
