Game 72 / Check out the whole project here

Game Highlights:
We'll win, we won't win. We'll win, we won't win. We lost to the Leafs.

-The first period didn’t look very bright, but the Blue Jackets found a way to come back from the 2-0 first-period deficit to tie the game in the second period. However, that’s where our goals ended. We seemed to just loose all momentum even though we had some great opportunities.

-During the third period things really hit a new level, literally. Toronto’s Polak boarded Bjorkstrand into the glass so hard that his visor cut his head and he was down for quite a few counts before being hauled off the ice. This resulted in a 5-minute major penalty where the Leafs never actually put anyone in the box.

-Because they didn’t do this there was no one to be released at the end of their time and they had to continue playing a man down until almost 2 minutes later when they finally flipped the puck out of play. They tried to ice the puck a few times because realizing that icing can’t occur when you only have 4 on the ice.

-Toronto ended up scoring five goals for the night.

-In player news: Wennberg returned the lineup after missing Sunday's game with a stiff neck. Hannikainen, Sedlak, and Harrington signed 2 year contract extensions.
