Card 6 - Wheel of Fortune
This card is COOL. The traditional card is totally packed with symbolism and imagery. There are the four fixed signs of the Zodiac, each sporting wings, demonstrating the balance between stability and mobility. The wheel itself represents the cyclical nature that is Life. There's some other imagery that illustrates the creation of our material world and the wisdom that surrounds us.
So.. I decided to draw an eyeball.
Our eyes are (one of) (two of??) the tools with which we perceive the world around us. Universal energy becomes material and recognizable once delivered to us through our eyes.
This card reminds the reader that there is so much that exists outside of our control. No matter how much preparation or stability we build for ourselves, we still must stay fluid and vigilant in order to adjust and react to the spinning Earth we live on :)
