Banmi app redesign

I was working as freelancer UX designer for a Chinese maternal and child app named "Banmi". The biggest challenge of the product is the low conversion of video clicking and viewing, while the video content is their core strength to differentiate with other competitors in this field. So we focus on optimizing the video viewing experience, trying to maximum the opportunity to play videos without being annoying. The fun part is when you scroll down the comments and recommended clips overview, the video starts playing, and the floating tool bar in the top can always enable users to interact with it.
