Game 34 / Check out the whole project here

With 12 penalties between the Jets and Jackets last night, there was a fair amount of wires being crossed. Luckily, the Jackets benefited from their opportunities and scored 2 Power Play goals in addition to their 3 at full strength. The Jets also cashed in and scored on 2 of their PP as well.

The game started swiftly when the Jets got one past Bob on a screen 2:36 in. They were able to dominate most of the first period, but the Jackets weren't about to let the potential to extend their streak just skate away. By pushing the offense, Saad was able to get the puck from the Jets on their boards and send it at the net. Even though the initial shot was rebounded, Saad carried through on his own rebound and tied it at 1-1. From there on the CBJ really turned on their engines. Their next goal was from Foligno and basically mirrored the first Jet's goal: the puck was won on the drop, kicked back to the blueline, and slung at the net from behind a massive screen resulting in a goalie blind spot and goal. Wennberg went on to score 2 goals and Sedlak got his 3rd of the season after getting pummeled and sat on by Jet's Byfuglien.

Game Highlights:
-With a 14 game winning streak we are now tied with the fourth longest winning streak ever in the NHL
-At this point, everyone is just anxiously waiting for the Jackets vs Wild game on New Years eve. The Wild is crushing a 12 game streak at the moment so this game is going to be killer!
