Boyscout Top 50 2016 x Music Albums

This is the landing page for the main annual chart - BOYSCOUT TOP 50 Albums.

The chart's page had to be incorporated within the current visual language of the magazine. However, we went for an overall feeling, inspired by the great disturbance in the force this year. 🕳

This one is a screencast of a demo page with effects we achieved with CSS only. The subtle noise in the header's background is a cool experimental technique that involves a few layers, the mix-blend-mode CSS property and some crazy GIFs. Shall we share the code on Codepen?
