This »U.S. Trade Emblem« I found in a specimen book from »American Type Founders« published at the beginning of the 20th century. I couldn’t resist and reproduced this great, slim »United States« lettering. The result I share with you here: http://www.typoatelier.com/drib/mius.zip
You may use the vector files (.ai, .eps, .svg) without any copyright restriction for commercial and non-commercial projects. You may modify and share it, or do whatever you like.
For big sizes it’s necessary to tweak it, since I created it on my notebook with a small display and after a while I was bored to zoom, scroll and move anchors.
I think this lettering offers a wide scope of creative variants. – Rebounds of the modified emblem in use are welcome!
