DESIGN OBJECTIVE: Redesign app login process to increase construction worker mobile app adoption.

DESIRED ACTION: Users need to add usage information daily. Making this process as quick and painless as possible will increase usage and remove paperwork from their process.

REQUIRED FEATURES
● Ability to easily log into the application.
● Ability to login if password is forgotten

MY SOLUTION: For login, adopt a Slack-style “lazy” login using a universal link. Construction workers on a mobile device need as little friction as possible to login. Large hands and tiny keyboards can make typing difficult. Most equipment operators have a high school education and do not spend large amounts of time using computers for work. Added progressive display of elements and float labels for clarity on CTAs.
