Chemical Theme - Home Teaser

Back to designing things in Photoshop. It's been a while, but this is a rough edit of a new (free) Genesis Framework theme I'm working on. Feedback is most appreciated.

Too much white space? Too boxy? The idea behind this theme (titled Chemical) is to be scientific. Almost like a report, so I'm going for technical and solid, instead of abstract.
