KC Soundwave Silk Screen Print

Earlier this year I was invited to speak to a design group in Kansas City, so for this event I created a print based on my first KC experience. When I was 12, visited KC while in foster care and the first time ever got to go to Toys R Us. My foster parents allowed me one thing, guess I was good on the trip and after much debate between a Hoth Playset, I got Soundwave. There are a lot of little iconography things representing my life history in the piece, but always remembered my first experience and not to be cliche, but a kid being a kid. One of the only times I went till I broke free of the foster care system. Long story, but save that for another time.
