Whiteford

Here's the last logo from the Ohio Valley region. In the late 80's and early 90's my dad worked for a trucking company that hauled Pepsi and their products to locations all over the Ohio Valley from Southern Indiana, to Kentucky and Ohio. Pepsi leased their trucks through a company called Whiteford. Their logo is one of the first logos I ever really made a connection with. My dad had the patch on his truck, work shirts and work jacket, Anytime I would see it I'd instantly relate it to my dad and his truck. Even now when I think about Pepsi or Mt. Dew I think about Whiteford and their logo. On these last two logos for this study and the Whiteford and Haas logos I decided not to veer too far from what they originally were. Mostly because both of them were such solid examples of what would eventually make me take an interest in creating logos for a living. So that wraps up the Ohio Valley portion of the Regional study, stay tuned for the next string of regional logos with an on the road theme it will feature some places I've been in my travels as a young man.
