Liquid calendar interaction for money tracking app

I'm playing around with this animation style for a new app I'm working on. The app will be used to track various forms of income over time, so the intelligent combination of a calendar view and bar graphs was a unique challenge. This is actually my first time building an animation in After Effects - while it's kind of bulky, I really enjoyed how powerfully specific it can be. It seems like a great tool for demoing a specific function or two - but I think prefer using other tools to prototype the rest of the app.
