Website Redesign - Respoken Fashion Magazine

Respoken is an online fashion magazine with a powerful mission to promote diversity and a healthy self-image for women. But a generic Wordpress theme wasn't visually conveying their awesomeness to visitors. So they asked me to redesign their website within the framework of their existing theme to create a visually compelling, modern and inviting home page. I am a big fan of editorial layout so I wanted the design to inform that but keep a user friendly web-based dynamic. The new home page features a slideshow inspired by headlines on a magazine cover. I hope to soon delve deeper into the site and bring the beautiful simplicity of editorial layouts to this wonderful online magazine.
