Daily Checklist MHD Social Media

Yes, guilty as charged!!! I did use a template from Canva to create this social media post. I added my brand colours, and the typeface for my Marie Harwood Design brand (Poppins) . I like the swirly lines as it give that 1960's retro look that love, and also zebra print vibes which I also love. This is my daily to do list which helps keep me focused on what I need to achieve during that day for my design work.

Why did I choose these colours for my brand? I like exploring colours and their names, the blue colour is called downy. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am neurodiverse and there are still times when I am embarrassed about that, but I am embracing this more and more. I even embrace the derogatory terms that have been used towards me and members of my community. Downy is an object cover in soft hair or feathers, but Downie/downy is used to refer to people with Down syndrome and generally considered derogatory. Also associated with being 'Dumb', a word that I was called often because I struggled with speech due to my dyspraxia.
