E-commerce redesign cosmetics store UX/UI

Bliss is an Irish online store selling a selection of quality beauty brands. The company currently operates in the domestic market but plans to expand its geography and product range.

Task

Our key aim was to fundamentally rethink the UI/UX. The two biggest issues of the store were the absence of a mobile version and an old-fashioned design. On smartphones, users saw a literally reduced mockup of the desktop version. They needed to zoom pages in and out to navigate, which they were unlikely to do. Therefore, in the process of working on layouts, we focused on improving usability.
