About California Common
California Common, also known as Steam Beer, is a uniquely American style of beer that originated during the Gold Rush era. It's characterized by its medium body and a distinctive amber color, with a flavor profile that balances toasty malt and mild fruity hops. This style is brewed using a special lager yeast that ferments at warmer ale temperatures, resulting in a crisp beer with a smooth finish. California Common is a testament to innovation and the pioneering spirit of early American brewers.
