Loon Adopts Mallard Duck

#Feathruary Day 17: (baby bird) Mallard Duck. At first, I was just going to draw a duckling but while I was searching around for some inspiration I stumbled across a video that was reporting on a pair of loons that had adopted a duckling! It was so cute and many of the photos featured were of the duckling riding on the loon’s back! I couldn’t resist to try and recreate the scene as it was simply adorable!
