A Mobile App Designed for Smoother Internship Registration

Tech A Intern offers internships in various domains, providing valuable opportunities for aspiring professionals to gain practical experience in different areas of technology. Whether it's software development, data science, UX/UI design, or digital marketing and ensures hands-on training, mentorship from industry experts, and exposure to real-world projects

About the APP

During my first internship as a UX designer, I embarked on a project to create a mobile app called Tech A Intern. This app aimed to streamline the internship registration process, making it easier for both students and companies in the tech industry.

Identifying the Problem

Traditionally, internship registration often involves a cumbersome process. Students might juggle multiple applications across different company websites or job boards. Companies, on the other hand, could be flooded with disorganized applications, making it difficult to find the right candidates.

A Solution Through Design

Tech A Intern sought to address these challenges by providing a user-friendly mobile platform.

  • Easy search and filtering of internship opportunities based on interests, and desired field.

  • In-app application process with the ability to showcase portfolios and recommendation letters.

This is the initial screen users see when they launch an app for the first time

The onboarding flow is a series of tooltips, modals, screens etc. that introduce your app and its primary features to your users

A Stepping Stone for the Future:

Developing Tech A Intern during my first internship provided valuable experience in the UX design process. It allowed me to understand the importance of user research, information architecture, and creating intuitive interfaces. While this was a mini project, it serves as a strong foundation for further development and future contributions to the world of UX design.
