Aberrant Flame

I have been doing some worldbuilding for a new D&D game I'm getting ready to run. I decided to play around with a symbol representing a faction who draw their magic from the skull of a fallen god. The flame never goes out and is cool to the touch but burns all the same. No one knows why the flame continues to burn from the skull long after its owner died.
