Hamdard University Faculty of Eng. Science & Technology (FEST)

Rebuilding the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology (FEST) at Hamdard University Karachi in 3D for the Computer Graphics Course project.

In the video, you can observe the initial structure of the FEST building in a 3D environment, rendered in real-time. The Hamdard FEST's architectural design is depicted through a walkthrough, showcasing its greenery and mirroring the real-life Hamdard University Karachi FEST. The model's current state is showcased, which is mostly complete but requires adjustments in some textures and materials.

Project overview

The 3D design is created from scratch by referencing pictures of FEST Hamdard University on Google Maps. The expected completion is by the end of May 2024.

Efforts have been made to make the model as similar to the real Hamdard University FEST as possible. As a beginner project in 3D exterior design, this project provides a good understanding of educational exterior design. The project is currently in its initial stages, and as it progresses, it will reflect a more realistic view of the actual FEST. Eventually, the project will be submitted as a course project by Najeeb Baloch, before the FYP Project.

🛠️ Tools Used in Creating this Project 🛠️

Autodesk Revit (Structural 3D Model)

Lumion (Render and visualisation)

Adobe Photoshop (Textures, Render edits)

Blender (Other 3D models)

Adobe Premier pro (finalizing the 3d visualization)

Power Point ( Project presentation)

Note

While I assert ownership over the 3D model I have created, it's important to clarify that the design and structure depicted in the model belong to Hamdard University. This model was created solely for learning purposes and does not grant any rights to the original structure. Any intellectual property associated with the design remains with Hamdard University.

The project is only a 3D structure of FEST that was made with permission from the course instructor. The project I designed and created with my own choice does not relate completely to the course itself, as the course mostly covers the basics and computer graphics on the programming side. This is an architectural 3D exterior, which is my own thought for this course.
