BOWS-24 / THE BOW PANDEMIC 🌎

the world has given 2024 a lot of trends, such as "western gothic", "jazz revival", "be jelly", "blue beauty", "aquatecture" and many others, but have you noticed how everything is fixated on the trend with bows? 👉 🎀

"bow stacking" is undeniably charming, but why did it dominate this year's visuals? is it because it symbolizes celebration, innocence and ease, or because it's just the simplest to execute?

bows have captured 90% of social media feeds, 70% of fashion design and a significant portion of advertising & graphic design.

i’m very concerned about this interesting observation, but what do you think? what trends do you think are missing? share your thoughts 🎀 😯
