Legends Logo Concepts

C3 Media was commissioned to craft a distinctive logo for Legends, an upcoming restaurant embracing the captivating theme of the Pacific Islands.

The client's vision was for the logo to embody significance, drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors and unique shapes associated with the Pacific islands.

In Concept 1, we delved into the rich narrative of the Guam legend of Santa Marian Kamelan, the revered patron saint of Guam. This tale recounted a fisherman from Merizo stumbling upon a drifting statue of the Virgin Mary, accompanied by two crabs each holding a lit candle. This enchanting manifestation bestowed upon her the affectionate title of the Lady of the Crabs, and the logo sought to honor her essence, capturing the spirit of "Legends."

Concept 2 took a more artisanal approach, featuring hand-drawn elements representing the sun, mountains, and water—integral components of Pacific Island life. The font choice drew inspiration from ancient cave drawings scattered throughout the Pacific islands.

In Concept 3, we revisited similar elements as Concept 2, offering a nuanced approach and a distinct font choice.

While none of these concepts were selected outright, they served as the foundation for the iterative process that led to the final design of the new Legends logo.
