Драмсси

Драмсси is a very dear project to me. This logotype is a part of the rebranding of a family firm owned by my parents. The firm had its 30th anniversary of existence and we decided to give it a permanent mark that would stand for the values and stories behind the entity which brought us so much in the past 30 years.

Story time.

The actual symbolics of the name and the mark go back from the founding of the company. My father and his friend named the company as a sub-set of letters that their nicknames start with — Dra(sko) + M(a)ssi. Then, the letter AM in the middle is an attempt to abstractly present a silhouette of the mountain near our city, which was part of the original logo as a simple drawing. The mountain itself has a lot of meaning to the father and resembles part of his business, which is tourism, tours, and transportation. That's why you can also see two dots, orange is for the sun, and beyond the mountain — green is for the bottom of the mountain.

With two dots, there's an additional story too. My mother runs the accounting services, which is a second department of the same company Dramssi (Драмсси). Two dots will also stand for the duality of the business, as it has two departments, and sub-brand applications will be derived in such colors. Orange - accounting, green - tourism and transportation.

There's more to it. Stay tuned for the full story.
