Michel Couvreur - The World 2023

Every new artist, be it painter or designer, seems eager to tackle the Tarot cards. I am no different! Each card can expend ideas and rooms for thought ; The Tower or The Sun can be simple symbols, where The Lovers, Justice or Temperance have a more foggy image. What about The World?

Now this is a whole new dimension to tackle ; what does the world means to someone? It would be a person or a feeling, so as always, go for the most simple answer... This one was the first Tarot card I made, and it turned out to look like a mix of Ancient Greek pottery and "Viking" art. The World set the tone for every other cards.
