Increasing the access to political information

The goal of the platform was to create a platform that could help users filtering political information and finding candidates that match their interests, values and preferences. Disclaimer: Before we start it is important to reiterate that all the news titles and topics were developed with help of AI generated chat bots

Problem Statement

Luis is a part-time bartender who wants to be informed about the political landscape of the country because he needs to be prepared to vote in the next elections.

Goal Statement

Our political platform will let users learn and browse through politicians profiles and agendas which will affect the users/population by equipping them with information regarding the political landscape. We will measure effectiveness by counting log-ins/downloads of the app and website traffic.

By providing access to politicians' profiles, political parties and related news, the user gains independent access to information in an organized manner.

Designing the Product

For better understanding of the potential impact the designed solution will have on the user, I conducted a CRO Tests with 2 groups of 5 people.

Personalizing the User Experience

For new users there will be a skippable questionnaire to define their political preferences. Users can choose to skip the login and the questionnaire for unbiased results.

After completing the 6-step questionnaire, the user is prompted with their results and a tailored search engine with suggestive results.
