Personal Brand Logo
Recently designed this as part of a greater rebranding effort.
I wanted something that was bold yet minimalistic. I've been really into old soviet art and sculpture the past couple years and wanted to incorporate that somehow but the red and yellows didn't suit me at all.
Fortunately, I found the Russo One font by Jovanny Lemonad on Google Fonts. As soon as I saw it and tested it out, I knew I had my typeface for headings.
My block style logo was inspired by another designer on Dribbble. Unfortunately, I forgot to save their post so I can't tag them. I saw their logo and wanted to see if I could recreate it in Inkscape. After that I was on a roll and this is the result.
The Japanese version of my business card is a more traditional to match the norms here in Tokyo. In the near future, I will create a dark version and test it out for reactions before settling on one particular design.
