THE AWARD

The Annual Latvian Music Recording Award is a yearly ceremony that celebrates the accomplishments of the best Latvian music artists. The award was established in 1995 under the name Mikrofona Gada Balva and renamed in 1997. It was dubbed "the Latvian Grammy"

OUR MISSION

Our aim was to build upon this special 20-year tradition by adding a contemporary flare to the ceremony, its visual identity, and the award itself. For the first time in history, musicians received their Golden Microphone statue in combination with its unique digital collectible counterpart.
