After a long voyage through the East China Sea, Ronin arrives in the great port and trade center of Southeast Asia - Malacca. ⛵
After an unplanned meeting with the mystical Green Dragon, the ship's crew is in a dilemma: the way home or the way into the unknown.
Most of the crew consisted of members of the Wokou caste of Japanese society, those who were engaged in piracy and plundering Chinese coastal cities. An agreement is reached, the pirates go to Malacca where Ronin will disembark and continue his journey alone. 🚣♀️
In the 15th and 16th centuries, Malacca was a major center of trade, connecting China, Korea, Japan with India and Arab countries. In that period, the Portuguese came, who occupied but left the local order. The city is divided into quarters, and one of them is visited by Ronin - the Chinatown. 🈺
