As part of my design journey and growth as an entry level designer. I have started to study popular apps and mobile designs, and learn from them to understand the current design standards as well as what is popular in current design trends.

For this design exercise I took a look at VRBO the short term vacation rental platform and tried to replicate 4 screens from its app flow. Using designs taken from Mobbin, I attempted to replicate the screens as closely as possible. This often included creating my own versions of the Icons used throughout the apps or editing the type settings of my chosen typeface (Lato) to best match VRBO's own typeface.

I am proud of the results personally and I took a lot of my experience with this design and transferred it to one of my own projects when I redesigned it.
