Instagram - Locations (Concept)

I love me some Instagram. One of my favorite features is Search & Discover. In an effort to develop my product skills I decided to take a crack at what it would look / feel like if I augmented Search & Discover to include locations in a more engaging way. Beyond just adding to the feature, I wanted to do it in a way that it would feel like it was always there and you just stumbled onto it. I decided to share everything about this one including the flow, thoughts behind my design decisions, an Invision prototype, and even my Sketch source file.
