The Museum Website Redesign

Hello, everyone! Do you enjoy museums? It's amazing to me that some major museums still have rather mediocre (and even very poor) websites. This applies to the most prominent museum in St. Petersburg - the Hermitage. I sincerely don't understand why the house of art is so poorly represented visually in the online space.

This has inspired me to redesign the Hermitage's website. So far, there's only the first screen, but more is coming. I genuinely admire the minimalist and elegant websites of the Harvard Museum and the Metropolitan Museum. However, the Hermitage is more about grandeur. I've been there several times for my bachelor's and master's degrees, so I've had a chance to feel the character of this museum and get inspired by it. As a result, the first screen for the website came together very quickly.
