Logo concept

This is a logo concept I have created for my freelance design business. I was playing with overlapping the initial letters of my company "spd". I think an abstract logo for a freelance design business makes sense - designers are abstract thinkers. I worry this might be too abstract, however.

Any feedback would be most appreciated.
