As a totally qualified app designer and not at all just someone with opinions, I decided to redesign the Google Chrome app home page.

Thoughts Behind the Design

1. Where's Bard?:

LLMs need data intake to increase accuracy and intelligence (Bard needs some help there), so call it out for users to use!

2. Feature Flexing: Voice search is trending and will only grow. With features like "hum this tune for the song," it should be in your face to increase adoption/accuracy - The same goes for scanning clothes, streets, and languages.

3. Clean Up: When sections are invisibly grouped through boxes, it gives a feeling of disconnection (IMO). Having dedicated, boxed-out areas for recently searched sites and icons creates more space for the home page flow.———
