Segmentation Mapping

It would be simplistic for any business to think that their customer base is only one type of person. People are complex and we all have different aspirations, needs, backgrounds and concerns. Customer segmentation refers to what differentiates one customer from another and then arranges these into various categories based on however the business identifies them. It is also quite important to note that a customer can go from segment to segment as they progress through life and priorities, means and situation change.
