#feathruary2023 Day 8: (green) Green-Headed Tanager. This tanager dwells in the Atlantic Forest range on the Brazilian coast, passing by both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. At this time, the Atlantic Forest range is threatened by deforestation. Organization, such as WWF, are actively working toward restoring this threatened habitat that is the home to a number of declining species.
