Golden Tanager

#feathruary2023 Day 7: (yellow) Golden Tanager. When looking into this bird I learned something really cool about the origin of its Latin name, Tangara arthus. The word tangara comes from the Tupi people, who are native to Brazil, and it means dancer, while arthus honors a French bookseller. I learned this after I finished my illustration but thought the pose fit perfectly with the idea that they are little dancers.
