Sophistication in playfulness: The Linkable Casestudy

Crafting a visual identity for the target audience

We are proud to show what we've made for Linkable. A new logo, visual identity and underlying strategy for their company. The main goal we where given: "create a visual identity for Linkable that will speak to our target audience." This was further expanded by the fact that the identity should be approachable for corporations and solopreneurs.

After the first phase of the process we soon realized we where on the right track to make something beautiful. The client found a certain sophistication combined with a hint of playfulness very appealing. We backtested this by asking current clients about their opinion of the new visual style without revealing too much.

After an overarching visual style we set out to create a visually pleasing combination of colors, typography, logo styles and composition styles to give the visual identity the sophistication it needed whist trying to balance the playfulness. What we where aiming for was a young appearance whilst keeping it focused on the business side of things.

Soon after we landed on the final design after reviewing the proposals we send over. Combined with a few strategic sessions to determine the near future plans of the company and what they will be trying to achieve. The look had to be future proof, simple and provide potential clients and leads with a paradox of price. Even though the company tries to show their seriousness it would be a massive bang for your buck deal.

We heavily lean on the halo-effect combined with the expert fallacy to provide potential leads with this mentioned paradox of price. Creating this contrast was a result of many conversations about behavioral nudges to provide an extra layer to the identity of Linkable.

In summary

We've created a brand identity with many layers to it's core to communicate trust, sophistication, playfulness, young and modern feel to the target audience. With a keen eye on the business results of our new client we are very proud of the end result. Crafting a modern brand identity and logo which will be timeless and provide much room to grow. This project was a result of a great partnership between us and our client focussing on collaboration and making strategic decisions together.
