100 Days | Surf and Tiki Sketchbook

100 Days | Surf and Tiki is the result of 100 days (more or less) of sketching focused on one theme, surf and tiki. The concept was simple, create daily sketches that concentrate on a single direction to learn and build a visual library and collection of ideas as a resource for future work. As a graphic designer, much of my time is spent working on a computer to refine logos, icons, and illustrations. I felt that my sketching practice was starting to become neglected and only used when absolutely needed. This project is my way to establish new habits that encourage regular sketching for better concepting and improved skill. Each page of sketches are studies from life, photos, and imagination.
