Let me first start off by saying how much I really really love Apple Playlist. Not only did they figure out how to make legal streaming music a thing, but they also created the sleekest looking UI with it.

However, with the release of Big Sur, a rift has emerged between Apple Playlist and Apple's design languages, enough for me to feel a noticeable shift in my desktop experience.
