Something Special Coffee Roasters is a bean retailer who caters to coffee boutiques based out of Los Angeles. The visual identity leans into a quaint and minimal aesthetic which is represented through earthy color tones, a simplistic design system, and stylized motion.

The design systems distinct shape is the oval. It's drawn from the silhouettes of the coffee berry and bean which are used to establish the graphic language. The crane is a representation of peace and hope, it's portrayed chasing a coffee berry as a reminder to never stop striving for excellence.
