No York City

As New York City deals with an influx of illegal immigrants, Mayor Eric Adams said he was asking a judge to revisit the city’s sanctuary city law. While New York reels under the comparative trickle of incoming migrants locally, it's nowhere near what's happening elsewhere.

Joining NYC Mayor Adams in his abrupt about face, are former vigorous defenders of the sanctuary city idea: New York Governor Kathy Hochul, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, Colorado Governor Jared Polis, and one-termer, Chicago's former mayor Lori Lightfoot.
