Cyetus Brand Design: Sustainable Product Identification System

Cyetus is a multinational coffee machine manufacturer experiencing rapid growth. The team combines professional coffee knowledge and a philosophy of simplification of life with high-tech machines, and uses one-button touch operation to make each cup of coffee an exclusive customization. In this project, Resauce Design reinvented Cyetus' identity system with the aim of creating a vision for the future of all Cyetus products, from coffee machines to accessories.

The need for consistency

Cyetus' new identity system needed to create a sense of trust and professionalism among the consumer base. The previous packaging had a key problem across all SKUs (stock keeping units) - no consistency in design and messaging. For consumers, information confusion will lead to a lack of connection between all products in the retail market; for enterprises, due to the lack of a unified design system, it is difficult for internal teams to extend new versions, and the brand effect brought Dividends will be significantly reduced. Resauce Design's goal was to create a unique and efficient sustainable system, and make it applicable to all touch points including website, physical store posters and retail packaging, so that the marketing of individual products is closely connected with the product packaging in the hands of consumers.

Application of grid system

In order to enable users to quickly understand product content in any region and in any language to achieve a truly global product, Resauce Design has established a clear structure that allows users to focus on the most important thing - the product itself. Resauce created an easy-to-understand typography system in which Cyetus' number, product name and technical information was stated, and combined these texts with linear illustrations of the product, giving consumers the possibility to "read" the product.

Packaging Design

Beyond typography, Resauce wanted to create a consistent unboxing experience across all packages in terms of touch, look and quality. Everything from a simple espresso glass to a high-end coffee maker is equally beautiful and precise. The packaging of Cyetus uses partial UV, combined with textured and non-textured paper materials, and uses calm cobalt blue and meticulous brushstrokes to bring the unique philosophy of simplicity from Cyetus to the audience
