Royal with Cheese Puzzle

In University our objective in a 3D class was to create a 3D puzzle to be laser cut out of wood. I chose my favorite meal; a Cheeseburger!

The construction of the burger itself was done rather quickly. Done in illustrator with an iterative testing process using foam board. After completion of the puzzle pieces I had ample time left before anything was due, so I decided to create packaging for the toy that I made.

I took inspiration from the film Pulp Fiction for the puzzle's namesake. Its a reference to a scene where they talk about how, in Paris, because they use the metric system; a McDonald's Quarter Pounder is called a Royal with Cheese.

Additionally, I incorporated facts and quotes from the film on the box.
